AV8 is founded and operated by FAA-licensed Airframe & Powerplant mechanics. That aviation-grade discipline — mil-spec surface prep, dimensional awareness, zero-defect mindset — goes into every Cerakote finish and laser marking project we touch, whether it's an aircraft component, a performance build, or a custom piece. Based in Peachtree City, GA — serving customers nationwide.
From military-grade Cerakote finishes to precision laser engraving, we deliver durable, high-performance results for professionals and individuals alike.
Handguns, rifles, shotguns, and AR platforms — complete refinishes, slides, frames, barrels, and receivers. Single-color or custom patterns (splatter, camo, battleworn, two-tone). Full disassembly, prep, and function-check on return.
As certified Cerakote applicators — factory trained at NIC Industries — we apply industry-leading ceramic polymer coatings that deliver unmatched corrosion resistance, hardness, and a flawless finish. Over 450 colors available.
Precision coatings for aircraft parts, brackets, airframe hardware, galley components, and control hardware. We understand the standards required for aviation-grade finishing and deliver accordingly.
Engine components, brake calipers, intake manifolds, exhaust headers, and suspension parts. Cerakote’s heat resistance and chemical durability make it ideal for high-performance automotive applications.
High-precision laser engraving for data plates, serial numbers, part numbers, logos, and compliance markings. Permanent, clean results compatible with FAA and industry standards.
Branded merchandise, custom-coated company equipment, laser-engraved promotional items, and fleet components. We work with businesses of all sizes and accommodate volume orders.
Tumblers, tools, car parts, heirlooms, and one-of-a-kind pieces — if you can bring it to us, we can coat or engrave it. Personal projects receive the same precision as our commercial work.

A Sig Sauer P938 came in with the customer’s factory Cerakote grip panels wearing thin. We restored one panel first — to prove we could match the factory look. Once we had it, we stripped and refinished the factory panel too, so both would hold up for the long haul.
